Charleston, here I come........

So. Tomorrow. I'll be on the road around 3 o'clock if everything works as planned (pending assistant principal approval! ;) ) I'm really really looking forward to the weekend. I will be visiting my friend Ann! I went out there last year and ran the Cooper River Bridge Run with her last year (it's a 10K for those who might be interested). She suggested a few months ago that we make a weekend of it this year. She called tonight and we've got plans for the entire weekend! Nice girls' weekend out. This is exactly what I need at this point, after the hectic past couple of months. I'm rather unprepared for this race, but I think I'll do alright. I'm sure I'll be nervous once it hits me what I'm going to be doing at 7 am in possible thunderstorms (d'oh!) At this point, I need to get to sleep so I can drag myself up early enough tomorrow to finish packing the toiletries. More later.....
